about Liz
Liz Hayes is a multi-disciplinary artist who is originally from Baton Rouge, LA, who now lives and works from the northern Houston area. Liz will be graduating from Sam Houston State University in December 2022 with a double BFA in Studio Art with a 2D Concentration and Graphic Design along with a minor in Photography. She is a former receipient of the Distinguished Art Faculty Scholarship. Working in collaboration with fellow artist, Tony Rincon, for the Project Row House Summer Studios 2022, Domestic Supply of Commodified Bodies, was a large-scale immersive installation featured at Project Row Houses in Houston, TX. Liz plans to continue her artistic practice through eventually opening her own studio and attending graduate school for her MFA in the Fall of 2023.
